Step 1: Consultation and Nasal Assessment
Your septoplasty Dubai journey begins with a detailed nasal examination at Cocoona. Dr Sanjay performs nasal endoscopy and reviews imaging to assess the deviation precisely. He discusses whether a combined nose job and deviated septum correction (septorhinoplasty) is also appropriate.
Step 2: General Anaesthesia
General anaesthesia is administered by a DHA-registered specialist anaesthetist at Cocoona Dubai. You are completely comfortable and unconscious throughout septoplasty surgery.
Step 3: Internal Incision
A small incision is made inside the nostril along the mucosal lining. The lining is carefully lifted to expose the deviated cartilage and bone beneath.
Step 4: Septal Correction
Deviated sections of cartilage and bone are precisely trimmed, reshaped, or repositioned to the midline. All structural support of the nose is preserved throughout septoplasty correction.
Step 5: Closure and Nasal Support
The mucosal lining is repositioned and sutured internally with fine dissolvable sutures. Silicone nasal splints are placed to support early septoplasty recovery.
